Have you ever driven down a country road on what seems to have been the darkest night of the year? Sure you have! So your headlights are on and you think "I wish that I could see better" and then at that very moment you turn on your high beams. Presto and there was light.
Now let's relate that to Freemasonry. A candidate driving down the road to his Lodge as the dusky night turns to darkness. He enters the Lodge and becomes a Mason. Behold his low beam headlights are now on. He soon learns that he does not have the whole story and wishes he could see more. Then a Brother approaches him and starts to inform him on the many appendant bodies available to all Master Masons. The candidate or rather new Master Mason petitions a Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, or rather turns on his high beams. He can now see the story of Freemasonry with a new light. That's not all there is even "More Light" as you progress into the other York Rite Bodies of a Council of Cryptic Masons and a Commandery of Knights Templar.
So I ask. Would you like to be the better enabled to see further? If so, Then continue your journey in a Chapter of Royal Arch Masons.
Thank for reading.
